Annual SHARP conference ‘Moving Texts: From Discovery to Delivery’ (26-30.07.2021)
The Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing (SHARP) will meet virtually in Münster, Germany, from July 26 to 30, 2021. Over 400 delegates will be attending to discuss research in the field of book history, broadly understood. The theme of this year’s annual conference “Moving Texts: From Discovery to Delivery” has inspired contributions from five continents. The conference is hosted by the Chair of Book Studies in the English Department of the University of Münster, Germany in collaboration with the German Research Foundation’s Collaborative Research Center Law and Literature (DFG SFB 1385 Recht und Literatur).

Program highlights include the opening keynote by Brenna Greer (Wellesley), titled “Mobilizing Texts and the Fight for Black Liberty Life” (Monday, July 26) or the roundtable “Singing Textbooks, Living Documents, Digital Stories: Perspectives on Moving Texts and Travelling Tales from the Global South” (Tuesday, July 27).
